A maven (also mavin) is a trusted expert in a particular field, who seeks to pass knowledge on to others. The word maven comes from the Hebrew, via Yiddish, and means one who understands, based on an accumulation of knowledge.

Tracy Fober believes physical health is the cornerstone of basic human function and athletic performance. She started her own practice in 2003 to develop and promote the concept of physical health for life and sport, integrating knowledge and practical experience from the fields of exercise science, rehabilitation and the sport of weightlifting. Tracy currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband Kevin, and three cats, Sofia, Pippi and Felix.

Mission
To promote fitness and performance through a mastery of physical health; to educate coaches, athletes, parents and other physical therapists on the appropriate application of resistance training techniques for athletes of any age.
