Athletic Performance

Athletic Development
The Iron Maven approach to athletic development is based on theory and practice from over a decade of work in rehabilitation and the Gambetta Method of functional training. Through individualized instruction, the high school athlete is taught to take responsibility for his or her physical health and understand the importance of fundamental movement skills before sport-specific skills. The master’s athlete programming is designed to be more independent and accommodate a hectic schedule. Exercise selection and training volume are optimized to maintain physical health and improve performance. All athletes must undergo a physical health assessment prior to beginning a training program.
